Effective 7 August 2026. This policy explains how UAEPEP handles personal information collected through uaepep.ae.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy covers personal data collected when you browse the UAEPEP website, create enquiries, place orders, track shipments, join newsletter updates, or email us.
2. Who is responsible
UAEPEP FOR LABORATORIES CHEMICALS TRADING LLC (“UAEPEP”) is the controller of personal data described here. Contact: info@uaepep.ae or support@uaepep.ae.
3. Data we collect
When you browse or use the site, essential local storage may keep your cart, language, cookie preference, newsletter email, contact-form drafts, and order requests saved in this browser. If you email us (including checkout mailto), we receive the details you send.
4. Why we use data
Browser-stored cart and order references help you continue checkout and track a request on the same device. Emails you send are used to confirm research-use orders, payment preference (COD or Tamara request), and support replies. We do not currently operate a server-side customer account database on this storefront.
5. Legal bases
Depending on the activity, we rely on contract performance, legitimate interests in operating a research catalogue securely, consent where required (for example optional marketing), and legal obligations.
6. Sharing
Hosting is provided by our website host. If you place an order request and we fulfil it, we may then share delivery details with a UAE courier and, where you requested Tamara, with Tamara as needed to complete payment — only after an order is actively processed by our team. We do not sell personal data.
7. International transfers
If tools process data outside the UAE, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the destination and the nature of the data.
8. Retention
Data stored in your browser remains until you clear site data. Emails you send to UAEPEP are retained as needed for fulfilment, support, accounting, and legal duties, then deleted or anonymised when no longer required.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission is completely secure.

We use essential cookies/local storage for cart, language, and order preferences. See the on-site cookie notice for your choices.
11. Your choices
You can clear browser storage to remove local cart/order copies. For emails or records held by UAEPEP after you contact us, request access, correction, or deletion (subject to legal exceptions) at info@uaepep.ae.
12. Children
The site is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
13. Changes
We may update this policy by posting a revised version with a new effective date.
