This Privacy Policy covers personal data collected when you browse the UAEPEP website, create enquiries, place orders, track shipments, join newsletter updates, or email us.

UAEPEP FOR LABORATORIES CHEMICALS TRADING LLC (“UAEPEP”) is the controller of personal data described here. Contact: info@uaepep.ae or support@uaepep.ae.

We collect identity and contact details, delivery address and phone, order contents and payment preference, messages you send via the contact form, newsletter email when you subscribe with consent, and limited device/browser data needed to run the site securely. Your browser may also keep a local copy of your cart and recent order references for convenience.

We use this data to create and fulfil research catalogue orders, recalculate pricing, send order confirmation and support emails, provide order tracking, respond to contact messages, send newsletter updates you opted into, improve catalogue operations, and meet legal obligations. Orders, contact messages, and newsletter subscriptions are stored on our servers (and optional database providers). We do not operate public customer login accounts on this storefront.

Depending on the activity, we rely on contract performance, legitimate interests in operating a research catalogue securely, consent where required (for example optional marketing/newsletter), and legal obligations under applicable UAE law including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL) where it applies.

Hosting and email delivery are provided by our infrastructure partners. When we fulfil an order we may share delivery details with a UAE courier. Tamara, card, or bank-transfer requests are handled manually by our team — we do not collect card numbers on the website and we do not automatically transmit your data to Tamara or a card processor at checkout. We do not sell personal data.

If tools process data outside the UAE, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the destination and the nature of the data.

Order, contact, and newsletter records are retained as needed for fulfilment, support, accounting, and legal duties, then deleted or anonymised when no longer required. Data stored in your browser remains until you clear site data.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access-controlled admin tools, and rate limiting on public forms. No method of transmission is completely secure.

We use essential cookies/local storage for cart, language, and preference flags. Analytics events used for operations do not intentionally include full payment card data or passwords. See the on-site cookie notice for your choices.

You can clear browser storage to remove local cart copies. For server-held orders, contact messages, or newsletter subscriptions, request access, correction, deletion, or unsubscribe (subject to legal exceptions) at info@uaepep.ae.

The site is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

We may update this policy by posting a revised version with a new effective date.
